REPORT & RESULTS
A large entry of 54 competitors took part this year, the greatest number of entrants post Covid which was very welcome. It was a perfect day for golf albeit it was a little bit breezy but that helped to keep the temperature down for most of the day. This is a 27-hole Foursomes medal competition for entrants with a combined handicap index not greater than 38.9.
Rookery Park were extremely helpful with all entries on their V1 golf system thus doing all the calculations for us, which was a great help.
The winners of the Le Blond Trophies consisting of silver salvers and jugs were Chris Kilgallen and Tracy Ward from Bramford, which were presented by our SLCGA County Captain Tanya McGregor.
It was compliments all round for Jenny Ladusans, Ladies Captain, and her wonderful team of helpers for their warm hospitality both in the clubhouse and on the course, the caterers for the superb food, and the general manager, Gareth Jones for his invaluable help.
