After what seemed to have been weeks of rain the Monday of the first VETS Spring meeting was a gloriously sunny day with not a drop of rain. The greenkeepers at Bungay had really pulled out all the stops to get the course opened for the 80 plus ladies playing nine holes of golf before the lunch.

Sue Hayward the Juniors Organiser for the County gave a short presentation to update us on where the monies donated to the juniors was being used. This year it will be used to fund a trophy and medals for the junior girls championship with mention being made that they are donated by the VETs

Jane Pitcher and Jean Emmerson took first prize on the front nine

Di Hegarty from Felixstowe and Kim ward from Fynn Valley took first place on the back nine.
