Suffolk Seniors v Cambs & Hunts Seniors

Our final Anglian League match of the season v Cambs & Hunts was played on Gog Magog’s Wandlebury course, with its tree lined fairways in their autumn splendour. Despite over night heavy rain the course was in excellent condition, with difficult pin positions offering a challenge for all.
Leading out the team, Vicki Hunt provided the first points of the afternoon with a 2&1 win.
Rachel Goldsmith secured a half point in a keenly contested match with never more than a hole between the two players.
The second full point came with a comprehensive 6&4 win by Lynne Barrett who’s putter was on fire.
With two matches going the way of Cambs & Hunts, it was left to Ann Fosker to close out her game 2&1 and provide Suffolk with the last point needed to win the match overall.
