Remember the 7th at Thorpeness?   That’s the pretty, 130-yard watery one.  It’s not long, but challenging and  Chris Lynch-Bates holed her tee shot during a friendly game at the Club with Sally Crosbie, her Stearn Trophy partner.  Came the next visit, this time the Stearn Trophy match against Lucie Reeve and Vivienne Sears and, as Chris stepped onto the 7th tee to drive, her partner Sally reminded her of the hole-in-one. You’d never guess: down the hole went the ball for the second time in a row!  Like the Number 11 London bus:  you can wait ages for one and then two come along at once.  Congratulations Chris!
