Bury St Edmunds golfer, Fiona Glasswell, sets off shortly to play in the England Grand Medal Final at Peterborough Milton Golf Club on June 28th. Returning the best four medal scores for the year from Bury took her to a regional final which she won, qualifying for a shot at the national title. More news after the event.
Update: Fiona thoroughly enjoyed the experience on a lovely golf course. Unfortunately, her golf didn’t come quite up to her own expectations but she would have had to go some to beat the winning score which was net 67. Well done for getting that far, Fiiona – it’s quite an achievement.
