On Saturday 19th October, the Suffolk Lady Junior Foursomes event was held at Seckford Golf Club. An enjoyable day was had by all, who made the most of the October sunshine. There was a good turnout, with 12 pairs competing for the trophy.
There were some good scores turned in, but Sue Anderson (Bury St Edmunds) and Katie Evans (Fynn Valley) took the title with 39 points, leading by just 1 point to Sunny Wang and Sheila Boath (Ipswich). Sue and Katie played some incredible golf, and this was also the first time that they had met and played together.
Thanks go to the Suffolk Veteran Ladies Golf Association for their continued support in this event and girls junior golf across the county.
