Thank you all for playing today. It was really good to see some familiar faces and good to see some new faces and weren’t we lucky with the weather!
A big thank you to Royal Worlington for being so welcoming and providing coffees on arrival (free of charge) and their Course in brilliant condition.
Gilly Greet did a great job as Starter and the catering team headed by Sandra Martin and Barry served us an excellent lunch but Bud deserves a special thank you for not only co-ordinating everything but for providing homemade Welsh cakes and muesli squares which I can testify were delicious!
Congratulations to Julie Neal of Bramford on winning the magnificent Division 4 trophy with 38 points.
Stowmarket (85 points) narrowly defeated Royal Worlington (84 points) in the team event. Well done to the team of Gillian Freeman, Carol Wright and Barbara Millier (with Victoria Whitelaw of Stowmarket also scoring 25 points but just missing out on countback).
