Suffolk Seniors v Norfolk Vets Wednesday 7 September ’22 @ Dunston Hall GC

The Suffolk Seniors had a very competitive but enjoyable match with the Norfolk Vets at Dunston Hall Golf Club.  This was a challenging course for those who were unaware of the exact location of the ponds and ditches and how far the dog leg was!  The course was playing very hard and bouncy, like most courses, and some managed the conditions better than others!  A deluge of rain (what is this wet stuff???!!!) came down towards the end of the day but was short lived and fortunately there was no thunder.

All games were played in excellent spirit and the match was drawn 2 – 2, playing 4BBB off scratch, a very creditable result against strong opposition.  Our thanks to the Norfolk Vets and Dunston Hall for hosting us – a great match and day was had by all.
