The magnificent Challenge Shield was won (for the second year in a row) by Bury St Edmunds (Mariette Robbertse, Bianca Theeruth, Elizabeth Bezance) with a gross total of 249.
A big thank you to Bungay for hosting Division 1 this year. Sam for setting up the computer, Kevin and his catering team, Lils and Kate for their help in the office, Julie the Lady Captain and the President of Bungay Golf Club, Brian Richardson for being Starter.
A huge thank you Di Hegarty, SLCGA Secretary who was also working as hard as ever.
Last but not least I would like to thank Frances (Danielsen) for helping me in all the Division Meetings over the last 3 years and particularly today for doing all the admin (helped by Di) so efficiently which enabled me to play.
Well done to everyone for supporting the SLCGA. Next year Division 1 is at Thorpeness on Saturday 28th September 2024 so hopefully we will see most of you again.
