Commiserations to Annette Llewellyn (Woodbridge) for just missing out on a prize on countback.
The Joan O’Meara Shield was won by Woodbridge 214 net (Jeanette Longman, Annette Llewellyn, Lorri Sage) beating Ipswich on 228 and Fynn Valley on 233.
It was a fabulous day weather wise and Purdis Heath Course was in amazing condition. Thank you to the Ipswich members who made us feel so welcome, Michael Trower who Started everyone, Sue Bailey who helped me on registration and the brilliant ball spotters on the 4th and 12th as well as Clair from Management and Kevin in the Pro Shop. We really appreciate your time and help in making the day easy to organise and enjoyable for the players. The Catering team also deserve a special thank you as the food and service was excellent.
Well done to everyone for supporting the Division 2 Meeting. Next year it is at Ufford Park on 7th September 2022 so hopefully I will see most of you again!
