Hannah and Carole got through to the final of the Haskell for the forth year running and now have won for the last two years. Remarkably, in the final they came up against Jo Woodward and Amanda Norman from Felixstowe in all their games.
At Bungay GC on 2nd October the match was all square at lunchtime, but Rookery Park prevailed in the end, winning 4–2. However there was some consolation for, when Amanda Norman got a hole in one at the par 3 fourth in the afternoon. We hope the Champagne tasted sweet!
The weather on the day was very kind, and both finals were played with great sporting spirit.

The SLCGA would like to thank Bungay for their kindness and hospitality, with delicious lunchtime sandwiches and a generous evening buffet. The course, as always, offered a good golfing challenge for all.
