The Championship took place at Stowmarket and they made the Juniors and organisers
very welcome. The course was in great condition and the sun shone.
The Stableford was completed first with a close finish. Shannon Noble came first
and Imogen Potter second with Rebekah Meekings third. Well done to Shannon
who only joined the second team last year.
The first round of the medal was close and the afternoon session was a
battle with very little between the first three girls. All six junior girls
played a much improved second eighteen with the winner being Josie Knights
by one shot from Sophie Kubizek. Sophie was awarded the best net score.
Well done to Josie.
The Championship being combined with the boys is a great success for all
those playing and has led to an increase in entries this year.
