The Stearn final was a very close contest between Aldeburgh and Bramford. After the morning the score was 2-1 to Aldeburgh, however after the afternoon round, the teams were tied at 3 all.
A couple from each team then played sudden death, with Aldeburgh winning on the second extra hole. It was a terrific tussle, which could have gone either way.
The weather on the day was very kind, and both finals were played with great sporting spirit.

Many thanks to Nicki McMahon, who refereed the games.
The SLCGA would like to thank Bungay for their kindness and hospitality, with delicious lunchtime sandwiches and a generous evening buffet. The course, as always, offered a good golfing challenge for all.
