Suffolk Seniors v Hertfordshire Seniors

Our second Anglian League match of the season v Hertfordshire was played in brilliant sunshine at Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club. A sporting sea breeze provided a great test of golf and was the perfect venue on such a hot, humid day.
All matches were keenly contested and with Suffolk leading 3-2 it was down to the last pair on the 18th green. An unfortunate three putt from the Hertfordshire player handed Ann Fosker a 1up win to secure the victory for Suffolk.
Many thanks to Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club for hosting the match. The course was in excellent condition, with our visitors really enjoying the links experience and the picturesque setting.
